How to Refer

For a question about genetic testing, a patient you are thinking of referring, or a result that needs explaining, send us a message and we will reply within two working days.

To refer a patient, send a standard specialist referral addressed to Prof Martin Delatycki or Dr Tristan Hardy by fax. For a pregnant patient, include the weeks of pregnancy and phone us on the number below, because testing windows close.

Patients: Ask your GP specialist or specialist for a referral. You need one to claim the Medicare rebate.

For clinical geneticists referring Medicare-eligible patients for an opinion on the suitability of PGT to Dr. Hardy, an initial bulk-billed appointment is available on request.
