We are a specialist genetics practice, centred on reproductive genetics and covering the full range of genetic care. Obstetrician/gynaecologist and genetic pathologist Dr Tristan Hardy and clinical geneticist Prof Martin Delatycki see children and adults by video consult from anywhere in Australia, for a pregnancy or fertility question, a family history of cancer, a child's development, an inherited neurological condition or a result that needs explaining. Tell us the question: we arrange the testing, interpret it and see the plan through.

How It Works

    Send a referral

    A standard specialist referral is enough. Tell us the question and attach any reports, including a relative's genetic test result.

    We contact your patient

    We book a video consult and collect the family history and previous results beforehand, so the consult time goes on decisions.

    The consult

    We draw the family tree, explain the options and arrange testing with consent. If an examination is needed, we are able to see patients face to face in Melbourne.

    Results and a letter

    We go through the result with your patient and carry out the plan, from testing relatives to prenatal testing or IVF with embryo testing, and write to you at each step.
