What is PGT?
Preimplantation genetic testing involves IVF treatment and genetic testing of a small number of cells from an embryo. The aim of PGT is to choose which embryo is suitable for transfer based on a genetic issue in an individual or couple.
The questions which we may be able to answer include:
Does the embryo have a high chance of having a genetic condition which runs in my family or has been found on carrier screening?
Does the embryo have a high chance of pregnancy loss due to extra or missing amounts of DNA, due to the age of the egg provider or a chromosome translocation?
Does the embryo have female or male sex chromosomes?

In-person and remote options
We are a group of clinicians and genetic counsellors with expertise in genetic testing and IVF. As a dedicated PGT service, we assist individuals and couples considering preimplantation genetic testing by providing counselling, test design, fertility treatment and follow up.
For international patients, we are able to provide treatment based in our integrated embryology and genetics laboratory based in Adelaide, Australia. Travel is via the nearby Adelaide International Airport, which can be reached by direct flights from Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Doha.
